Hey guys im looking for some new places to go wheeling this weekend! I know of General Sams and some places aout by my house but me and my HEEP buddy want to go somewhere new, so anyone know any places they can hit me up with?!

yeah all i can think of is spring creek and gen sams...... how far you willing to drive?????

well i know there is a really good palce up near austin which i want to make a trip out to for a weekend.. eventuallly but i guess normally i'm willing to drive an hour

and i just looked says spring creek is now closed.. Harris county bought it or some crap

We are having our annual new years run at barnwell on Jan 7-9 weekend. A few of us are going to caravan up there Friday.

Some folks I recall go to some trails somewhere by i45 and 59. Don't remember the specifics as I was never a le to meet up with them for an outting.

Hidden Falls is near Marble Falls which is about a half hour West of Austin.

Yeah i was looking at making a drive up to hidden falls, just guna need to plan the timing and all on a weekend.

And that sounds like a good time how long is the drive up to barnwell from Houston?

It's about a 5 hour drive from katy. The park is just north of Gilmer.
