Can anyone recommend some starter trails in the front range (still open?), north of denver for me to get stuck into. nothing hardcore since this is new to me? where is best to get maps, directions etc

Illinois gulch is good and close to CS. It is in Deckers. And same with China wall. That is good for south part Rumble bee.

To the OP: Try Lefthand like Brandon said. There are good places for challenges. Be sure you are not overheating and in 4wd. lol Right Brandon?

There is a couple of us that were going to go for a run in a couple weeks if you want to join us that would be fine.

With today's weather, I doubt it would be. But there's a possibility.

I'm assuming Spring Creek is already buried?

spring creek.....no idea.

I'm guessing that the way the weather is acting....Russell is gonna be passable most of the winter.

Very true. It's been sweet for sure! But I wouldn't mind a bit of snow. I haven't been able to do any donuts at all this year. Sad Panda.

I got to do a few in Michigan :D

I can live without the 10 degree weather anymore though. I think my truck hates it too......

swizterland trail which is much more than a dirt road but it hooks up with pennsylvania gulch which can be fun in the snow. as long as your with someone of course. when it opens back up i really like caribou trail(505). also check out www.traildamage.com
