Tire: Pro Comp Mud terrain

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h27/soccerbrace/xterrastuff020.jpg

my rig:2004 xterra

BL size:2"

SL size:3"

Tire size:33/12.5/17

How many miles: about 15K on them

Appearance: Love it!

Tread life: I have been pretty pleased actually

Road noise: I would have to say minimal.

Rotation mileage: I would recommend rotation after 10K

Street: They actually handle really well to tell you the truth.

Rain: no problems here either. No problems with hydroplaning even in deeper puddles

Mud: Have not had too much experience in the mud here in CO. I did one mud pit, and it seemed to shed mud really well.

Snow: AWESOME in the snow. I love how it handles. It gives you that whole "invincible" feeling that you should never have. I was outperfoming a lot of vehicles in the snow the other day.

would you buy this tire again?: I would definitely buy this tire again, however, I am going to explore other options as this IS my first off road tire.

who would you recommend this tire to? I would recommend this tire to anyone! I would not recommend this tire as a DD honestly unless you are in it for the bling factor. Best for trail applications but still has good wear on the street.

Another review from my buddy Brandon
Tire: BFG All Terrain
http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/6997/p1020036oj3.jpg

Year of my rig: 2000

BL size: 2"

SL size: N/A

Tire Size: 33X12.50X15

Miles: 150 so far :-)

Appearance: diggin it

Tread Life: To new to tell

Road Noise: Minimal

Rotation Mileage: Not sure

Street: Awesome

Rain: Handles great through puddles

Mud: Haven't mudded yet

Snow: Bitchin tires for the snow, I find myself using 4WD less because of these tires.

Buy the tire again: Absolutely but maybe the MT's next time

Recommendations: I would recommend this tire to anyone that has the BL, its an all-around great tire used by a lot of people.

Extra Notes: I have a PML and 2"BL and the only things I did to get these to fit were removing the front mud flaps and trimming about a 1/2 inch off the plastic. Absolutely worth it for 33's and hardly noticeable. Thats a pretty common question so I figured I would mention it ;-)

Here's a little video of the tire in action

And another from my friend Kevin

Tire: Interco TrXus M/T

http://flashoffroad.com/features/Tires/images/truxusmt.jpg

My rig: 2002 Xterra

BL size: 2"

SL size: I Honestly dont know anymore 5+"

Tire size: 35 x 12.50 R 16

How many miles: Total of about 55,000 on different sets

Appearance: Slightly Aggressive, I like em

Tread life: 22-28 thousand miles

Road noise: Moderate to light... depends on the balance

Rotation mileage: Rotate every 5,000 w/Discount

Street: They do fairly well

Rain: No issues with hydro foiling water pushes away

Mud: Excellent treads clear very well.

Snow: They do fairly well, on Ice they are not the best but there is some decent siping to help with that.

Rocks: Great as long as they are aired down (like the should be) the sidewalls are tough and aired down the side tread will give you some traction on the V Notches along with a bit of added protection.

Would you buy this tire again?: I have already

Who would you recommend this tire to? Someone who does not drive tons of miles yearly, it is a softer rubber for crawling. You have to rotate em if you dont you will notice after a while.

2000
2" BL
1.5" SL
33x12.5x15

I probly have 3000-5000 miles on them.

Tread life: VERY Poor. Been wearing very fast. only pd $120 for all 4 tho.

Street: Bad, but expected. Terrible at balancing. Very wobbly. Loud.

Rain: Also bad. plane up easily. no siping.

Mud: Good! theyre mud tires!

Snow: Pretty good. Never had traction issues, except on packed snow/ice. Not great there.

Buy Again? Yes, just because they were sooo cheap. craigslist.org

I would recommend this to anyone who wants some decent mud tires for really really cheap.

Tire: BFG AT KO's

http://www.higherground4x4.com/forums/uploaded/Xterra/BFG_AT_KO.jpg

year of your X:2003

BL size: 2"

SL size:3"

Tire size: 285/75R 17

How many miles: 22,000

Appearance: Good

Tread life: Extremely good

Road noise: Too little :D

Rotation mileage: Whenever I feel like it (not much)

Street: Well mannered. Stiff sidewall. On road, I run at no more than 30psi.

Offroad: Good for medium trails aired down to at least 15. Stiff sidewalls could take even less air.

Rain: Still good grip. Standard pull- in one side puddle situations

Mud: Attracts but fair cleaning. Sidewall tread a plus.

Snow: Seemed good, but experience was packed

Would you buy this tire again?: Yes for tread life, but would rather more aggressive looking.

Who would you recommend this tire to?: Predominantly to more street driven with medium trail use vehicles. Goodyear MTR's for heavier Arizona Trails.[/QB][/QUOTE]

Tire: BFG M/T

year of your X: 2002

BL size: 2"

SL size: 4" front about 5" rear

Tire size: 33 x 12.50 x 15

How many miles: unsure

Appearance: excellent

Tread life: Great

Road noise: very little

Rotation mileage: Haven't yet

Street: they handle really well for a mud tire

Rain: they also handle very well. A little drifty when hitting bigger puddles in the road.

Mud: They do really well in the mud. They clean themselves great.

Snow: In fresh fallin snow they perform pretty decent, but in fresh plowed snow on the street they do not so good.

would you buy this tire again?: Yes I would. Actually I did, I went from a 32x11.50x15 to the 33x12.50x15

who would you recommend this tire to? To anyone who's gonna wheel your rig. If your going for looks it'll cost ya more on gas to run them. But if your gonna run them all the time (like I do) then you'll be amazed on the good road manners and how well they wear.

Sorry, no pictures of them on the truck yet.

2008 Xterra Off Road for about a month, and 2003 Xterra SE for a few months before that

0" BL

0" SL

265/75/16

~5,000 miles on 'em so far

They look tuff but understated. Much better than the Long Trails that were on the '08 new.

50K treadlife warranty, and so far they've had no appreciable wear.

Minimal road noise that is only noticable while traveling at hwy speeds with the radio off.

Rotate every ~5,000 miles

Great on the pavement

Very stable in the rain, but we don't get much rain around here

Haven't had a chance to get 'em in the mud... yet

I've been pleasantly surprised with them in the snow. Lots of siping seems to help, and the voids don't seem to accumulate too much snow

I would certainly buy this tire again, although hopefully in a larger size :D

I would reccomend this tire to folks who drive a good bit on the street, but need solid off road performance. The price is great, and the 50K treadlife warranty gets rid of mileage concerns. So far I have been totally satisfied with these tires.

DANG3R

Tire: Interco Super Swamper Radial TSL

pic: (soccerbrace has a better pic above, here is the best I can get from my desk at work)

http://lh6.google.com/DangerP/RUWTTOIcABI/AAAAAAAAAIU/z4JjvrUfsqY/s800/IMG_2249.jpg

my rig: 2004 Xterra SE

BL size: none

SL size: none

Tire size: 32x10.50R15LT - fits without any truck mods

How many miles: around 10k - I swap them with my DD tires for when I want to hit the trails, and I don't keep track of mileage

Appearance: It looks very mean and aggressive. Even the smaller size makes the entire truck look a lot more hardcore

Tread life: don't know, but I don't believe they were designed with road wear in mind

Road noise: It reminds of a propeller plane taxiing for takeoff. I like it, the fiance doesn't. Road noise decreases as the volume of the stereo increases :D

Rotation mileage: I swap them out quite often without paying attention to the position, so they get rotated often by default... don't know what the recommendation is though

Street: you will definitely notice a decrease in street traction compared to the stock tires due to decreased surface area etc.

Rain: pretty good, considering the above.

Mud: freakin great.

Snow: not much experience, but I would expect it to be on par with the mud performance

Other Off-road (sorry, had to add this one): Awesome. in Moab, my almost stock rig with superior tires kicked serious ass in regards to traction on the trail compared to heavily lifted (Xterra) rigs with huge tires (size ain't everything!)

would you buy this tire again?: absolutely, but not as a DD

who would you recommend this tire to? Anyone looking for the best grip, but not looking to put major miles on (read: daily driver

Tire: ProComp Xtreme Mud terrain

http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e155/edwardwebb/images.jpg

my rig: 2006 Xterra

BL size: Nope

SL size: 5" calmini kit, converted into a 6.5" lift kit

Tire size: 315/70/17 (~35x12.5)

How many miles: ~8,000

Appearance: Rediculously cool (plus they have an X on them), aggressive sidewall.

Tread life: ~30,000 - 40,000 miles (best guess)

Road noise: not bad at all for a MT; it surprised me (much quieter than interco mud tires)

Rotation mileage: I do mine every 5,000

Street: Good traction,

Rain: As good as a mud tire can be, no noticeable problems!

Mud: Very good in the boggy stuff, but doesnt clean well at SLOW rotation (what mud tire does?)

Snow: Southern doesnt see the white stuff.

would you buy this tire again?: I would if money wasnt an option, but they can get pricy... but well worth the cost.

who would you recommend this tire to? People going in rocky terrain. The side wall on these things are bullet proof *disclaimer: dont shoot your tires!
