I was looking at some of the lifts and was thinking of like a 2.5" with some good looking wheels and a/t's for a start. Its dark blue so what do yall think, black rims?

Ok ive been checkin out some options. Would yall rather put the shockworks replacement front bumper or new tires and wheels first? I have brand new tread on the stock tires..

it depends on what youa re gonna use the truck for, i always do stuff by the rule of "function over form"
are you gonna wheel it?

Maybe small stuff nothing real big just yet. I just got it and gotta make it last 5 years, hope it last alot longer lol. But I guess i can't even get tires and wheels till i get the lift. I want the 2.5". I dunno I really like the way that replacement bumper looks and I really have to worry about deer where I am.

well, i dunno about the extra weight from the bumper and the new x's, i know for us 1st gen'rs we have to get stiffer tbars to "maintain" the spring rate, but you have coil springs, the order i did my X in was, lift then tires, and id do it the same way if i had to start over, its really personal preference
the shrock bumper does look pimp and it will knock the %$#@ out of a deer

Ha Ha hell yea I bet it will. I went the same way with my z71 lift tires then everything else. Here are some pics of the new x I just took.
