I am right outside of port huron. What do you got? Mine is a pretty much stock 04 SE. But I love it. I am lookin to do a 3" susp. prob calmini seems the best for the money, + 33's come summer. atleast thats the plan. already did the airbox mod. I am also lookin at bumpers. I may try to do some tubes myself. we will see.

Nice! I'm just outside Lansing - '09 S pretty much stock as well. I'd like to get more aggressive on the tires and do a suspension lift, but I still need to fit in my garage, so that'll have to wait for a bit! I'd like to get up north a little and find some state fire trails to explore. Have you done much wheeling and if so where?

So how was it in the snow
I have owned a number of 4x4's I hate to say it but the x is probaly the worst . I have not been off road much just some off season roads up north.
I would imagine it is better in dirt than snow

My BFGoodrich's worked Awesome this year in the snow. My X has no lift and handled the snow covered trails with ease.

I just got my X yesterday. I'm liking it so far. 05 S. I've never really off-roading before, but I know there are a few parties up by me in the summer, plus I am near the Sleeping Bear Dunes. I may check it out this summer.

Hello All,
I have a 2000 SE (216,000mi) that probably can not handle what you guys are going to do, but still wouldn't mind checking it out. I am in Williamston, just outside of Okemos/ Lansing.
When in Feb? I'd also like to know if anyone of you are, or know of, a good Xterra mechanic. I have a laundry list of items to take care of.

If you get another run worked up, let me know. I'm actually living really close to the the Mounds these days, but I have not been out there yet.

Just picked up a 06 X. Been thinking about hitting the Mounds once I get new tires.
