: instument cluster needles wiggle

when i first start it all the needles wiggle around and after a few seconds they are good but is that normal? also does anyone else's trip computer reset to 0 overnight?

Don't worry about it. They are probably just getting jiggy

I haven't noticed that in mine. I think it has something to do with the ECM resetting them. They will do something similar about a minute after turning it off too.

I dont think they are supposed to jiggle after starting. I will check my wifes tonight to see if it does the jiggle. The trip odo is not suposed to reset over night. You might have a bad instrument cluster. Are you still under warranty?

I should have read the original post better. The trip odometer shouldn't reset until it is manually reset. I'd have it checked out, it should be under warrantee.

I looked at my wifes instrument cluster this weekend & I did not notice the guages flutter when the vehicle was started.
