Read up on brush guards.......

Then read up on Shrockworks.....

Then show us pictures of your 2008 Nissan Xterra off road with a SHrockworks bumper on it.

You won't find many people here recommending "damage multipliers". Get a proper bullbar. Shrockworks are highly recommended. On one of the Xterra forums someone did a write up on installing lights directly into the grille.

Go with a Shrock Works winch bumper ( you don't have to install a winch if you don't want to ).

Here is a Pic of what I am running for lights and Bumper on my 05.

I have got a brush guard and some trusty advice is only get one if you are not going wheeling hardcore. Mudding will be okay but it does mess up your approach angle and also it bends when you hit stuff (learned the hard way) so just be careful if you do get one.

ITS NOT WORTH IT...... dont waste your money on it....
