So I'm thinking........

I hate the headlights in my 03 X. I wish that there was a good alternative replacement.
Looked around....nothing!
So, I measure the plastic lens. It measures 7"! Huh......

I'm going to make an attempt to install a set of Hella 7" H-4 euro headlamps into the housing behind the clear plastic OE lens. I can't see that it will be that hard and it will give me much better, focused light. A couple of relays to boost voltage to the bulbs and I should be golden. It will probably take me months to ever get my act together to do this. ;)

Soccerbrace had a set of Hella Black Magics on his rig for a while.

Thought about doing it later on, however you lose your blinkers.. Take pictures and post it up. Let us know what you do in the end

No loss of blinkers. This is a high/low with an H-4 bulb that will be installed in the original housing. I will prolly mount it in about the same place as the original reflector is now or maybe a couple of inches 1-1/2" from the rear of the oe clear lens. Flashers and parking lamps are beside the headlamp. I'll have to do a little digging deeper but if I do it right I should be able to use the stock adjusters too.
Hell, all I have done so far is measure the lens. May not even be possible.
