Just joined your forum, approxiamtely 4 hours after I drove my 2002 Xterra XE off the lot. If you noticed my age, yup I am an old fart. So is this a middle age crisis? Nah! Wanted an Xterra for five years now but needed the ole Sudperduty dually until now. Finally I get the truck I wanted.
About me, I write. I am a tech writer for an asbestos and lead clean-up company, contractors located on Edwards AFB. 6 months ago to teh day I watched a space shuttle land the day after my birthday. I was a radiation safety officer at a nuclear waste site (Yes I still glow in the dark). Moved in ot our new house in August have alreay had snow twice. We live in SoCal but at 5,200 feet in teh Tehachapi mountains. The road up to our house has several swithcbacks and climbs about 1,100 feet in 2.2 miles. You math wizs out there have probabley already figured thats a 10-11% grade.
Needless to say, I am sooooooo glad to fianlly have a 4x4. Well that's too much already. Later.

Actually Edwards AFB is in the Mojave Desert. One reason I'm so stoked about finally trading my big diesel for the Xterra is now I can go check out the old ghost towns and spooky cool desert stuff.
