i thought i had seen, and i dont remember where, but a roof rack light setup where the lights were inside the plastic spoiler thing on the roof. they were flush inside it. does anyone know what im talking about? i have searched for pics for weeks and cant find it. im hoping it wasnt custom because i reallly liked it and wanted to grab one.

probably. i dont know what its called but plastic roof thing seemed to kind of give you an idea what i was meaning. the gray plastic thing that says nissan on the drivers side. "wind fairing" sounds like a much better name.

The 09 and up OFF ROAD Xterras have lights in the wind fairing. Is this what you're thinking of?

same idea, but i was sure i saw something with 4 or 5 lights in it. (thats nice though) and they were inside the wind fairing. (feels so much better calling it that now, thank you for educating me on its correct name)

I've never seen anything like that, though a CX member's shop was prototyping one. It's been over a year since they started and we've not seen a finished product yet. Other than that, there are several options for light bars in front of the fairing, and a couple of full replacement roof racks with light mounts in the front of them, but nothing so far for lights inside the fairing.

I know what your talking about, it was something some one had posted here off ebay, it was only attached to the roof with double sided tape though, and I beleive over all it was pretty low quality, Drbandkgb's bar is much nicer

check out xoskel.com they make some lo profile bars, look sweet too

Isn't there a mod where you cut you fairing out, and replace it with a piece of lexan of acrylic and then put a light bar in behind it, and it shines through it?
