Hey big Al. I'm here is Philly and there is a great place at Grant and Bustleton. don't know the price but they do great work. Same parking lot as the Bank. Looks like a 1 car garage.

How dark are the rears with a 5% on them can you even see out them??
I had a Mazda3 with NO tint and I got 5% put on and I could hardly see out, I cant imagine putting 5% over factory tint...

yea i can see out of em.. I love how dark they are! at night it can be hard at times but its worth it! i dont even need my costas in the car anymore llol
Check your State laws, google it. I have 5% everywhere but driver and pass windows. Had to remove it as I could not see and almost hit someone. Put 20% in its place over the factory tint. So, all rear and side windows 5%, driver and pass 20%.
58 years and no tickets, claims= 5% was not worth it.

we don't have an AS1 line. I put a strip accross my windshield and haven't had any problems at all. And FYI, if a garage tries to fail you for inspection because of tint, you can tell them to shove it because it is not in the Inspection Manual anymore for PA. I know because I just got my inspection license in PA.

Kyle's right. No tint in PA can fail you for inspection unless its on your windshield (light transmittance through the windshiled has to be 100%) or if your applying for an R title (windows have to be at the manufacturers specs). As for the laws. I'm pretty sure it says that as long as you can see through it it's legal. so even if a cop writes you a ticket. CHALLENGE IT and print out the info on the following website. It gives you all the loop holes thourgh the laws. My buddy has 2% on his acura all around except the windshield and just won against the cop who wrote him up for it using this website. P.S. The instructor who taught my inspection class told us about this site. So definetly it's legit, but as far as I know this site is only useful to those of us in PA.

Philly cops don't really care about the tint. They are too concerned about the murder rate. Had 15% all around on my old chevy and never not a tint ticket. Speeding, Red light and stop signs were all i got. Now in Jersey if a cop can't see you through your driver and pass widows you will get a ticket. Also in NJ your car won't pass inspection with darker than 35% on driver and pass. (as of 2002) moved out of NJ cause of the asshole cops that ticketed me all the time. No offence to any NJ cops on the site.
