I've got a trip planned to hit Coal Creek (in Tennessee) the weekend between Christmas and New Year's and thought I would open up a thread to invite anybody in the surrounding states/area with an Xterra and some free time to join me.
Nothing fancy or formal. Just a weekend getaway to get a little mud on the tires and have a little fun. Depending on the weather, I may be camping there at the park.
Shoot me a pm or post any questions here if you're interested and I'll get back to you asap.

Bumping this topic up again. C'mon guys. You know you want to do some holiday wheelin'!
So far I've got a definite from one and a probable from two members of NOAS joining me. That makes 2 stock X's and one nicely modded one so far. Just a good two days of playing around in Coal Creek.

Ok, you guys are excused.:hilarious:
Yeah I'm pretty lucky a place like this is only 3 1/2 to 4 hours from me. It's 72,000 acres of nice mild and moderate trails but each has access to some technical sections if you want to test out your rigs and also some great views of the Smokey Mountains as well. This is my first time at a real offroad park and the guys meeting me there are pretty familiar with the park so it should be a great time.
Here's a view from one trail point.

Most definitely there will be a plethera of pics! ha! And hopefully a vid or two. And they will be posted immediately upon my return I promise. If you are planning to take a long vacation and you consider Tennessee as being a place to go, let me know. There are several offroad parks in close proximity to that one that are equally as amazing. Tellico is another but it's a bit testy and requires some mods and a lack of concern for body panels I've heard. Also, not sure what else you're into but there are some amazing hiking trails, rivers to kayak and mountainbike trails too.
Coal Creek is great because it is accessible to all levels of rigs. Whereas a lot of parks I see cater to the crawlers and boggers with only a couple miles or so that are accessible to stock and slightly modded vehicles. From what I'm hearing from the guys joining me, the entire park is literally accessible by stock but at the same time there are places/detours that offer all sorts of technical obstacles.
I can't wait to go and kinda hoping there is a little snow on the ground too. But I will definitely have pics when I get back.

YOU'VE pretty much sold me, im an avid outdoorsman, hiking, spelunking, camping, im all about it
ive heard alot about tellico on the yota forums im on, as far as ody panels, i dont really care, i bought an 89 4runner specifically to go wheelin in, its my dedicated trail rig.
if/when i plan a trip i will surely let you know!
