The 34's stick out 1/2" more than the 33's...so, if you did the melt thing to fit the 33's...the 34's put you close again. A suspension lift will only help tire clearance at ride height...when you brake, go over a bump, turn, etc, so that the suspension compresses, the tire goes up and hits whatever it would have hit BEFORE THE LIFT. On your X, there's room in the well for upwards movement, but the bottoms of the wells in front are relatively narrow...so you may need to trim a bit more...those paddlewheel LTB lugs tend to play a tune on nearby truck parts...my LTB"s made a noise like a playing card in bicycle spokes on my rear wheel well plastic until it was done self clearancing. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4150/4991076933_1cd167edf0_o.jpg IE: The LTB's need more room that an equivalent sized milder MT or AT, etc. :wink-big: bsheltry 11-03-2010, 05:28 AM ill prob just stick with getting 33s. you know any recommendations for some good tires and rims.
