F150Boss86 11-26-2007, 06:46 AM I have the stock bfg rugged trail tires on now. Size 265/65/17...the rim measures 17x8 if i remember right. Ive read that 31 will fit fine. My main concern is how wide can I go on this rim? Can I go past 265? I really want the tire to give the truck a wider stance. Any help would be great. Anthony 11-26-2007, 08:11 AM The rim will not be the limiting factor on the width of the tire in our case, people are running anything up to 13.5" wide tires on stock rims. The problem you will run into is rubbing the fenders/mudflaps and the passenger side front brake-line shield. If you want to install a body lift, you can run 33x12.5's though.
