I bought 1 set of tires for my Z from them already. Customer service is top notch & prices are pretty good too.

so, if i understand right, only swap out the rear's, so have 6 wheels with 35s, 2 of them non radials?

To put 35's on an X...do you not need some sort of Lift and such?! Jason is rubbing with 33's and he has a 2 " lift..... I have no idea how you can fit 35's under there ..... Unless you have a pretty good lift.

I have 35 12.50s on my Full Size Jimmy and its got a 6" in lift....needless to say I can easily probably fit 38's under there...but, They are some pretty big tires!

2" suspension lift? a suspension lift dosent truly give more room for bigger tires, when the suspension compresses the wheel ends up in the same spot, thats where a body lift comes into play. ive got my suspension roughly 4.5" over stock, i think i could sqeeze 35's right now, but i wouldnt have ANY room for suspension travel. toss on a 3" body lift and it raises the wheel wells 3" abovethe entire range of suspension movement, which is really the only to truly make room for bigger tires. the reason suspension lifts usually allow bigger tires is that most of the lift is achieved by stiffer suspension, thus making it harder to fully compress your suspension.
im runnin 31's still, 35s are 4" bigger in diameter, but the diameter is what you need to worry about, its the radous out from the hub, which is only 2" larger at any singly point on the circumference of the tread, so 3" of body lift and i should be cool, especially with 4.5" of SL already

I agree with the 3" body and a 4.5 susp. lift you should be able to squeeze 35" in tires in there.

Yeah you can fit the 33"s stock underneath the 05' offroad the 2" lift doesnt do much in wheel well room. Its the plastic inner fender that rubs. if you heat that up and bend it out of the way he should be golden.

I think the 35's on your X then would look excellent..... the bigger the better!! :biggrin:

Well, that X you show has been SASed. That is a beast.

I have seen first gens run 34's with 3" SL and 2" BL so it's possible and with you only having 2wd you don't have to worry about blowing up your front diff or half shafts, so you very well might be able to do it.

Since it is 2wd, I would go with as wide as you can in the back and with something like the Super Swamper Boggers. and something narrower in the front so you don't have issues turning. Also, since it's 2wd, you don't have to run boggers in the front, just a MT of the same diameter. I would also look at locking the rear.

What you would end up with is a swamp buggy / desert runner.

Just curious, how did you get 4.5" of SL?

I would get these for the rear;

Get the 35x14.5x15's

Then get a set of these for the front;

i got the ac 3" lift, and kept my PML, add a leaf with the longer shackles in the rear, then just cranked the tbars enough for the front to match within .5"
i dont have much droop in my suspension, but ill remove the longer shackles and let off the tbars a bit once i got the tires and BL

ricerx yes 6 tires total and being 2wheel dr diameter/size doesnt have to be the same on the front to back (muzikman explained it better ) the only reason i said non radial there relativily cheap the same reason for steel rims

ricerx sorry i cant xplain it correctly 4 tires same size same tread same rims for on road driving looking good as a truck and rotateable(is that a word?) then when you want to go offroading throw on the big meaty mudders on the back. come home swap back to your macthing set (with clean tires and rims) only problem with this is extra cost and storage of mudder tires rims
