I've had a 2000 xterra 5 years now I'm ready to get it ready for wheelin what are the first steps I should take? Suspension? HAve 30 in all terrian but would love to get more out of it!!

You can do a very inexpensive suspension lift for about $50, and get 1.5" You just need some rear spring shackles and you adjust the front torsion bars up a bit higher. This is called a PML (Poor Man's Lift), and is a great starting poin.

Then You should get a set of Shrockworks Rocksliders, and hit the trails.

From there it just depends on how crazy you want to get! Just search around this site and see what other people have done, and get some ideas.
