Thats all for now, i have put a K&N filter in but i didnt think it was picture worthy since its in the factory airbox...I have made a custom sub enclosure and will get pics of that here soon.
Next = minor body lift and MT tires! maybe a light bar or somethin
Offer me some used stuff!

Delusnl 09-26-2010, 10:57 PM It's a 4wd
thanks for the write up, body lift seems to be more work than I imagined!

You're in the same boat as me. Suspension stuff is well over my head. The good thing is though, you can probably find a set of helpful hands that live near you on this site. Lots of the guys here are nice enough to help if you just ask nicely. And since they've done it before, they'll better know what to do than you :).
Btw, fine choice on the color and year of your X... not that I'm bias or anything, haha. Keep up the good work.. and try to post some bigger pics sometime if you can. I can barely see your X, :)
Delusnl 10-06-2010, 04:54 PM I havent upgraded anything else yet, but I took the X off road the other day and up some hills, took some alright pics

offroadsilver05 10-06-2010, 06:13 PM Cool pics :) . Just curious, what made you want to rhino your bumpers? They shouldn't have faded yet I hope. Could you post bigger pics of it up close, I'd like to see how it came out.
Also, just as a suggestion, maybe add the door strip that your X doesn't have? Besides the stadium seats and the first aid bump, it's something I love and almost expect on an X. :)
Delusnl 10-07-2010, 12:07 AM Yes i would love to add the strip it was one of the first things i pointed out when i bought it haha
No they werent faded,I rhino lined the bumpers just because i didnt like that between the grill, the bumpers, and the paint....there were 3 different shades of grayish/silver but no chrome or black.
So i painted the grill black and rhino lined the bumpers! figured it would make it slightly more agressive looking.
Ill get some better pics for you when i remember but its dark at the moment
NCPhotoTrekker 10-07-2010, 05:33 AM Welcome to the club!! Love the Rhino Lined bumpers as well. I'm thinking about going that route on mine for the same reasons. Might hold off for the ARB and Rhino Line it instead. Hopefully I can get the rockers RL'ed at the same time since they are already taking a beating. I think that it will last longer than Herculiner, but I'm not sure.
TimRich 10-07-2010, 08:16 AM Sharp looking X! I like the black on silver.

Herculiner is pretty durable, its all in the prep work. I did a roll on herculiner to my ford ranger and it still looks new even after having thrown huge chunks of concrete on it

Good to know. I guess it will all depend on whether or not I want to do it myself (which I probably will want to do).
Delusnl 01-24-2011, 11:54 PM Hey guys! Haven't had much goin on with the X for mods (other than stereo) But I recently got myself a bullbar with some off-road lights and I finally got a camera so I took a few pictures after playin in a bit of mud!

Nice X!
I have to wince at the bull bar, in that it kills your approach angle due to the low mount position, and the guys I wheeled with who had them end up taking them off after bashing them up not being able to get over things a stock X could clear, etc.
On the plus side, at least that type doesn't tend to pivot up and whack the hood and fenders too, etc...it mostly just keeps you from being able to get over things/acts as a grader in deeper stuff, etc.
If your trails are essentially dirt roads etc, as you've shown, then of course its going to be fine....and it does provide a good place to mount lights, etc.
Itsme 01-25-2011, 06:50 AM Your X looks proud in it's mud coat and I like the color.
It is yelling at me that it needs a SL though!
Mods to do and so little time!

Im aware, I dont have the lift or tires to get in that deep anyways im not worried about it.

Thanks!! If by SL you mean small lift, that is next in line, Followed by some MT tires!! I was thinkin a 2 or 3" lift. Maybe just a leveling kit of 1 or 2"
Roschili 01-25-2011, 01:45 PM You've got a good looking X. On a side note,
SL = Suspension lift, although Small Lift was close lol
BlackX 04-01-2011, 03:01 PM i like the bull bar. looks great!
