I'm looking at adding a Volant CAI to my S/C '04 and I was looking at the exhaust system. I'm a firm believer in that you have to be able to get the exhaust out first before you get more air in (add exhaust before intake in other words). But I was underneath checking out my exhaust and it seems that it's a bit larger than non-supercharged factory. Am I seeing this correctly? And if it is a larger exhaust, does it flow well enough to add in a CAI before a cat-back/exhaust upgrade?

Basically... I'm wanting the CAI but don't have the cheddar to spring for the exhaust upgrade yet. So will I be defeating the purpose of the CAI by not upgrading my exhaust?

And if any of this I post makes any sense it will be a miracle because I'm so doped up on cold meds right now it isn't funny.
