Just joined. I've got a Jeep YJ xtremely built up, but am now getting ready to do similar with future Xterra and would like to know who here does similar.

It depends what you mean by extreme? If you mean anything more than dirt roads... then there are a few of us here that will do anything up to and including blue and black rated trails, rockcrawling, etc.

But as for rock racing, jumping, etc.. probably not.

Yeah, it looks like you're used to just about the type of wheeling that a mildly modified xterra is perfectly suited to.

It will mostly depend on whether you're getting a first generation (2000-2004) or a second gen (2005 +) Xterra.

Since I always recommend armor (after getting a good set of tires of course) you should probably start with www.shrockworks.com and look at rock sliders, skidplates, and bumpers. :)

I do that with my stock xterra, well new tires. Just bring a friend to pull you out.

the jeep looks good.... you shouldnt have any problems with the X..... have fun..
