I wonder how it performs in snow. That would be a sweet backcountry rescue tool.

It's the outdoorsman's segway.

Take your Segway and shove it. I'll roll this around in the office while punching old ladies in the face.

The concept is cool... it would be better if it were more like a mountain board than a scooter...

Good choice of song too!

I would think the twisted riding position would lead to injuries.

On the terrain shown, I don't think it had much much traction / mobility advantage over a dirt bike...albeit a remote controlled bike pulling a cart would be tough to do...

On snow or terrain where a skinnier tired bike, etc...would not have sufficient flotation...the tracked system could be an advantage.

If for a military application, I would think the semi-blind sided condition to one side, created by the twisted riding position, would be dangerous from an ambush standpoint...I know where I'd want to wait for them/booby trap them from.

The carts were empty except for a mannequin...so its hard to know how useful a load they could actually deal with, and at what speeds, etc.

Its a cool concept though.

As a ver 1 device it looks pretty cool, if not a bit impractical for anything but entertainment off road. I laughed out loud around 1:22 when they do the remote control stuff because that's how I picture it. You're out in the woods, hear something coming and see that thing pulling a small trailer of gear all by itself heading like stink for parts unknown then about 5 min later some sweaty dude comes trotting by asking if you've seen his camping gear and which way was it going. hehe.
