well we could do superstition mountain out north of plaster city in borrego. theres everything from dunes to rock gardens out there.

honestly im fine with either one. I havent been to either so its up to you guys.

well we could all meet at my house and caravan out to borrego, i live right off the 8 freeway which is on the way to borrego. take the 5 or 15 south to the 8 freeway and head east to el cajon. i can pm everyone my address if thats a good meetup place for everyone.

Kudos indeed. Scottmen here took that luck shot while hanging out the window overlooking silverwood lake on our last outing to cleghorn. Turned out pretty nice.

I have heard valley of the moons is not that safe right now...being so close to tbe border...but i hear it is amazing.

I go out there and camp all the time. I've accually crossed the border on accident once and had the border patrol race up the mountain and pull ar15's on us. Fun times.

Little late to make this trip but there will be more. I'm going out there this weekend to do some camping and shooting in valley of the moon with some friends. Its going to be prime desert season soon so we should start planning.
