It was the first mod I made to this truck. If you get a good kit, it takes about 30 minutes to install, but you can do a super smooth install in about an hour. I mounted the ballasts and igniters behind the front bumper cover. There is all kind of room under there, and when you pop the hood, there is just a factory looking wire going into the factory headlight. A dealer wouln't even notice that anything has been changed. Ricer-X 03-24-2006, 12:46 PM 5000 is pure white, and the brightest at arpund 3100-3200 lumens, 4500k will have a slight yellow hue akordboy 03-30-2006, 10:55 AM also, one thing to remember. Depending on what year/model you have, you need two 15 amp fuses. My headlight are wired to two different fuses. If not, you will have to rewire the headlights to a seperate fuse box. And the lower the number, the brigher the lights will be. I'm getting the 6000K HID kit. | ||
