: New Toy.....
I just bought this bad boy earlier today and took it for a spin...... I weighed it on the CAT scales at around 5500-lbs w/ trailer, the boat is rated at 3900-lbs shipped weight, it has a Mercruiser 5.7 Chevy 350 and rode super smooth on the 2 lakes we took it out on today... We easily got her up to a steady 50-mph ride that was smooth as silk even when crossing wakes.

Actually YES... It took me about an hour to land it because a couple of the trailer's runners kept falling off and floating away, sooo I grabbed my Tow Rope to tie them down with... So since replacing those will be my first mod, I guess skids it is... - hehe :D

drbandkgb 08-21-2010, 11:24 PM Nice any issues pulling it? That a lot of boat! I had a 27 footer a few years back :D It stayed docked.. was my weekend party place :) Looks good man
Bennyboy42 08-22-2010, 01:05 AM noice! now sell it and buy a ranger 300 series with an old omc!
do you just cruise, or ski/tube/wakeboard, or fish?
and never trust the speedo on the boat in case ya didn't know, gps is the only reliable source..
Xterra Mike 08-22-2010, 08:17 AM Nice Boat Pops. you got 50mph from that big boy??? i just aquired (free) a 20' bayliner with a 5.7 in it. I'm hoping for 60+mph. Gotta get it running first.

I like to take the kids tubing and will get them up on skis before long.... We also love to fish... :D It's Nautical MPH, the water current affects land speed, that's why GPS reads different... 50-knots is accurate. ;)

I had to raise the trim tabs and trim up the motor a bit to hit 50 knots so that appears to be it's top speed...
J Everett 08-22-2010, 11:07 AM Nice boat Pops!
Mike, don't you already have a boat? Now you have 2?
Consider me jealous, of both you guys!

glazener24 08-22-2010, 05:00 PM Hey Pops, were you in Edmond yesterday? I think I saw you turning off Broadway on to 33rd...don't know if it was you for sure
Bennyboy42 08-22-2010, 10:06 PM oh ok cool, sounds like it'll be perfect for that. and okay, i was just asking, i don't doubt it if it has a 5.7. have you thought about or researched different props?
all the bayliners around here except for a few seem to be neglected like crazy. it's sad to see such pieces of work go to waste...
Hey Pops, were you in Edmond yesterday? I think I saw you turning off Broadway on to 33rd...don't know if it was you for sure
Yea, I'm sure it was me.... I took my son out on Hefner for a little bit before I had to got to work.... I just got back from taking them tubing out on Thunderbird today, they had a friggin' blast. - lolz...
If anyone's interested, I'll be listing a 19' - 1991 Four Winns Horizon 180 open bow on Craigslist this week asking $4500-$5000..... If you might be interested, you can have it for $4000, just let me know, I'll take pics and start a new thread as soon as I pick it up from the shop... One of the trim hoses was leaking and I couldn't figure out how to get to the top of it in the outdrive to replace it, so I had a professional do it.... It's been running great since I replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump rod, it'll make a good boat for someone...
Cool boat Pops.
At 50 knots you won't have to worry about being these guys (http://www.nwcn.com/news/washington/Boat-caught-up-on-rocks-near-Port-Ludlow-101261309.html)

Thanks guys!!! Tom, this one is only 21' long and smaller than alot of Pontoons... I picked it up for $6700..... Here's a couple pics I took that might give a better prospective, it is tall though, it's about 9' tall or so...
