So my girlfriends Nissan Sentra is throwing a code and comes back as the catalytic converter... now I was wondering what's entailed in swapping in a new one? Just use some PB undo the bolts, slip in the new one reset CEL and good to go ?

I see some people cut it off and then what? weld? exhaust clamps?
