Hey guys -

We're a small custom car audio shop located in Washougal, WA we specilize in custom builds and design and manufacture our own line of vehicle specific subwoofer enclosures. We've been trying to see what kind of interest there is for a subwoofer enclosure for the Xterra's in the car audio section here - http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22115 there seems to be a fair amount and we'd like to take a closer look at the space available.

We're pretty sure the 2nd gen (05+) won't be a problem but the older models lack some room.

We were curious if there is somebody local to us (pdx/vancouver) that would be willing to swing by so we could take a closer look. If something is possible we'd also like to use the vehicle to build/design the prototypes. It depends on the overall design and we can work around your schedule but it usually takes a solid week + to build the prototype and get it dialed.

What we can offer ya -

Super clean and safe place for your vehicle - once the car is here it doesn't have to move until you come back to pick it up.

Once the prototype is done and the molds are made you get one of the first production models free of charge and if your interested in any other audio gear at that time we can make ya a killer deal on it.

You get to be the one makes all this happen!

We have a couple other projects in the works right now so we're not exactly sure about how soon we could use it and like I said we'll do what we can to work around your schedule to make this happen.

If anybody thinks they can help out drop us a line - pm or email - audiointegrations@comcast.net

Thanks!

Here's a couple shots of the shop to give ya an idea - we're not your standard audio shop ;)

Hey sorry for the slow reply...we've tackled a project that has taken us out of the shop for a few days this week and I'm a little slow on the responses. :(

We're usually available there at the shop but might not be around till later Friday afternoon and later. If you're in the area feel free to just stop by, or you can always give us a call first to see if we're there. ;)

Thanks for posting up!

I'm outside of Vancouver, not far from Washougal with a first gen. I doubt I could leave it for a week since I use it and am headed back to school in Ellensburg here pretty soon, but I could probably make it down if you want to look at it.

probably would be good to see them both since his is a 1.5 gen. Don't think theres any difference in the hatch area but who knows.

Anybody with a 05 or later Xterra? We looked at the pre 05's which look to be less room but something might be doable still.

If you have an 05 or later we'd love to take a quick peak, we can run out to meet you as well at your work/home if its easier. Probably only need 10 - 15 mins if that. ;)

Drop us a line at audiointegrations@comcast.net if you think you could help.

Thanks!

I can come out on a weekend sometime if you still need to look at one. I use to have a white '98 legacy gtt and have been to your shop before but it was a meeting spot for a cruise.

Let me know.

Thanks for the post! That must of been the cruise up to WCSS in Hood River yeah?

We're back and forth on the weeked but if we know your coming before hand I can be sure to be here. :) I'm pretty sure the 05+ body style will work but just want to see one up close and in person.

We can also travel out to you as well if that's easier for ya. Ideally if an enclosure model is possible would you be interested in letting us build a proto-type from it?

I can give you more details about it later but basically we offer the donor vehicle owner the first production model for free and we can sell ya any gear you need for cost as well as the install. :)

It was the cruise up to WCSS in Hood River. I haven't owned that car for 3-4 years now so it's hard for me to remember.

If something needs to be built, you are more than welcome to use my rig. As far as getting gear, I am happy with the stock stereo but ya never know, something my peak my interest :)

What are your hours of operation? I can see about taking some days off to.

We're usually here 9 - 6 or so M-F and sometimes on the weekends depending on the projects. We're often having to run around so probably the easiest thing if you have a little free time one day is to just call before heading over to make sure somebody's here. ;)

We'll only need to check out the truck for 15 - 20 mins originally, then like I say I'm pretty sure an enclosure model will work so if that's the case we can then plan on when it works best for you to drop the vehicle for a little while.

The proto-type work takes a good week + as everything has to be dialed on the original (mounting points/fit/design). About half the work is done in the car and the rest is done out but it's a constant back and forth to make sure everything is lining up correctly.

If you want give a call anytime and we can talk a little more in detail if you want. :)

The Xterra is my main mode of tranportation so I can't go a week with out it, unless you want to swap me rides for a week :)

Where do you plan on mounting the product or is that why you need to look at one?

Yeah that's what we need to see the vehicle for but I was thinking the passenger side rear cargo area had some extra room.

We might be able to plan something for another vehicle for ya if it looks like something will work. ;)

I am taking friday off so I will come out once I replace my CV axle and clean the rig up. My dog makes things pretty hairy in the back....lol.

Todd, will you be around Friday?

I replaced my driver side CV axle last night but noticed my passanger side had a tear. I will be re-booting the one I took out last night and installing it Friday morning. After that I have to stop by Discount tire and get the tires rotated. I was planning on coming out after that, so probably around 10 or 11.

Let me know.

I got an 02 SE-SC that I could leave there for a week + since I have a daily driver and the wife is currently not working. PM me if you'd be interested...
