Welcome! I'm assuming this is a repaired salvaged vehicle right? Do you know what work was done on it. Some salvage vehicles are a good buy, but others are really not safe. The newer the vehicle, the worse off you usually are because it takes such significant damage to total it out. The older the car, the less damage it takes to total it. Main thing is that you are happy with your purchase. Xterra are wonderful trucks, and you will enjoy all that it can do for you.

it was rear ended. I will post pics of the damage also, when i get time to take the pics off my camera. Sill has new car smell, thats a first for me. This is also my first 4x4.

Rear ended huh? That could be a bad thing if it was enough to total it out. Not much metal back there to replace, so that leaves me thinking that the frame got tweaked. That could really increase repair costs, and if not done right you will see further problems down the road. Hope its not that bad.

Enjoy the new car smell, it will be quickly replaced with bodyshop aromas which are not to everybody's tastes.

That was a pretty good hit, but it looks like they did a good job fixing it.

all the parts were replaced with factory nissan parts. From what i could see they did a good job repairing it. This month im going to take it in to my body shop to confirm that no short cuts were taken. First week of ownership results = I LOVE THIS TRUCK!

The hit wasn't as bad as I was afraid it was going to be. Not too bad of a find, and a very good repair. You need to reindex the rear wiper arm though, it should be level with the bottom edge of the glass.

Thanks, i didnt notice till now. I normally have a large crate of oil, anti freeze, ropes, jumper cables, and tools that usually took up half my trunk. This truck has so many compartments and side nets that it fits everything.

Nice Truck.......It looks like it's never been hit. We just lost a 97 LeSabre, premo condition, and got our first X and we just love it. I know you will too...
