Hey guys, this is Mark with Road Armor. We are wanting to prototype a front winch bumper, and rear for the Nissan Xterra and we are wondering if there is anyone on the forum that is interested in letting us use thier vehicle? We are in Dallas, TX.

Once we are done we would like to become a supporting vendor of the site, and that person will get a free front and rear base unit once they are in production. Let me know if anyone has suggestions.

also you should mentione what year xterra you want, i have the 1st gen

I will be honest. We are new to the Nissan products other than the Titan we did. What the differences between the different Xterra Models i.e. (2wd and 4wd) if any? Are there differences in the front clips from the generation models? I will be honest I have not done much homework yet on the Xterras. We are looking for the 07-08 Style Xterra first, but will do the later models as well. We just need to have the vehicle for about 2 weeks.

i am also up to it i have a 00 se 2wd i also live near houston.... the 1st gen is 00-04 and the 2nd is 05+ i dont know what the diffrence is.... also i am fixing to do a BL on my X so that will make a diffrence when you mount them.... just let me know.....

unless you can fashion and extra bracket that will lift the bumper 2" higer than stock.
so if you were to use mine, would you prefer it in stock form or with the 2"BL?

well i talked with Mark he told me i could bring my X whenever it is convient, i have been trying to get ahold of him for about a month now and he will not answer the phone..... this sucks i have all the free time in the world right now i could take it up there but he wont answer the phone./..... figures.....

Okay... The second gen Xterras (2005-2008) are all the same in the front and rear. There is no difference between the X, S, Offroad, and SE models whether they are 2wd, 4wd, Auto, or manual. Which is good for you. The only small difference on them is the 07 and 08 models have a different fog light assymbly and rear liscense plate light assembly.

I have a 06 xterra with front and rear shrockworks bumpers already... I am located in Houston. I believe on the forum that i mentioned above, there are several members from the DFW area.

yeah it sux i was ready to take it a couple of weeks ago, i took off work and everything and when i tried to call he wouldnt answer i ended up calling every couple of hours and never got ahold of him
