What I normally keep in my X:
Ropes, Bungees, Gerber multi, tool box(es), rope, shackles, strap, wire coat hangers, fire starter, shovel, hatchet, tarp, stakes, emergency blanket, poncho, mag lite, zip ties, duct tape, radiator clamps...etc. etc. etc.
What I bring camping:
If it were JUST me, I'd bring all of the above, plus tent, pillow, sleeping bag, more tarps & stakes, food & brew. Tent isn't a necessity, I'd be fine sleeping in the back of the X.
When camping with others, I bring all that plus a lot more "comfort" items.

Just the little things.........:talk2much:
Drake 08-06-2010, 06:31 AM It all depends on what kind of camping I'm going to do. If I'm within 1/4 of my X, I'll bring all kinds of crap and niceties. Now when I'm going on a weekender in the "bush", I'm somewhat of a weight nazi and carry almost the bare essentials. Whiskey in a bottle instead of beer :D
Oh and usually a 1/4 stick of dynamite. Nothing makes a buddy evacuate his bowels quicker. :D

I mostly take my boobies... (The wife :D)
Ill have to make a list..
Tamerin 08-12-2010, 02:58 PM lol David....
I might have to upgrade my list with a few things everyone has added here.
I actually feel like creating a small storage box that I can bolt/unbolt into the back storage area of my X for when I go camping to carry all my small items. Like my toolkit, flashlight, stakes and etc...
Maybe a DIY topic lol

Tent & Sleeping bags
First Aid Kit w/Toilet Paper, Sanitizer, Bug Spray & Sunscreen
Fire Wood & Matches
Grill & Lawn Chairs
Food/Beer/Water/Solo Cups/Ping Pong Balls
Since we usually camp at established sites (both commercial and in white moutains) some things come and go and we try to keep ammeneties to a minimum because it just means more to pack up later.

STUMP is great!!!! I always get nervous the more we drink and the longer we play though!

I hear you on getting nervous playing that damn game...I've seen some pretty serious stump injuries in my time...

this one might not look that bad...but if didn't drive an Xterra, this guy would have been going to the hospital for stitches...he probably should have anyways.
xtacular 08-12-2010, 07:08 PM These lists look good, but I always add my UV water filter. It takes only 90 seconds to purify 32 ounces of water and it works better than anything. It bursts the cell walls of anything living :D
