I am moving to Augusta, GA this November, anyone know any good trails in the area

Durhamtown Plantation is probably an hour and a half away, Gulches is about the same in the opposite direction. You might find some easy driving forest roads in the Sumter National Forest, but SC is pretty weak on trails within National Forests and DNR managed lands. GA has a couple more state operated OHV areas, but they are geared more towards ATV's. There may be more offroad parks down that way that I don't know about though, hopefully someone else can speak up on them.

I can only speak for gulches, everyone that has told me about Durhamtown rides ATV's, and there truck/jeep trails are fairly new. You can pretty much cover most of gulches easy/moderate trails in just a couple of hours, its better if there are lots of nasty built rigs out there to watch on the better known hardcore trails, as you can easily get to them to watch and waste a couple more hours.
