Just got my 2006 SE 4x4 and I do love it. Just one question...I also got the factory XM Radio which will be installed this weekend and was wondering if this is a second unit or completely hidden? If it is a second unit in my dash, anyone have a pic?

most of the time if a car is xm or sirus ready from the factory, you will need to go to the dealership for the xm or sirus unit which not cheap at all, most of the time it is in the hundreds just for the unit. but im not sure if the unit comes with the 06 straight from the factory seeing that mine is just an 02. if you dont already have the unit that can from the factory in you car then i would recommend getting a unit from your electonics store that plays through an fm modulator. this would be the cheapest way.

Anyway, now that I have a little more time (just wanted to get that question out so I could check it when I got home), this will be my third 4x4 but first SUV. As you can see in the avatar, I went with the black. LOL I'll be using my X mostly for gettin up to those ski slopes when I get out of lower Alabama and back to Washington. That and getting to all those hidden camping spots I know about. ;)

Not installed yet but on further research I found "...fully integrated system fits seamlessly into your existing radio." Also, I do know that your X needs to be prewired for satellite radio in order to add this on. It is more expensive (cost me about $250.00 parts and labor(I think the option costs $330.00)) than buying a seperate receiver. But it is a clean install with no wires. I had one before and it blocked two cup holders in another vehicle that I had. Comes with two months free service.

Yeah, the long winters will definitely suck but atleast I can ski again. Seems pretty outdoorsy, too.

Getting fixed now. My fenders just came this week. Plus I have to put my BL on before I can put my bumper (it's a schrock for a 2" BL). So hopefully, next week I'll have it back. I'll keep you guys posted. When I do get it back, who wants to go wheel'n?? :D
