I initially wanted some Cooper ST's but got a good deal on the Procomp Xtreme AT's.

Thanks. No, I didn't do any trimming. There is a bit of rubbing at full lock. I'll see what it's like when I get on some trails and if I'll have to modify anything.

So how have the tires worked out for you so far? I'm in the market for new tires right now. I've got the exact same x as you, and I'm having a hard time deciding between the 265/70/17 and the 285/70/17.

Those 285's look awesome.

I'm going to get the Goodyear Duratracs or BFG A/T's.

Any words of advice or updates on your setup?

I want to know how you got your bars cranked up so high in the front? Looks awesome.. my X has a crazy downwards rake from the rear to front after PML. I could only crank my bars so much then they hit the stops and my alignment starts to go to hell. Do share your secret for the front hight!

The front is SUPPOSED TO BE ~ 1.5" lower than the rear.....so that "Crazy Rake" is not a symptom you need to treat.

If you crank the front end too high, it will be too high to get a decent alignment, so the ride and handling will be poor, plus, you will ruin your tires.

Make sure you back down the crank to leave ~ 1/2" - 3/4" gap at the upper bumpstops.....in case you haven't already.
