Hey guys,
So i tried to do a search on the forums for my problem, and found that it might be associated with a regulator re-call. After some research, i dont think my car has a recall on its window regulator. Besides the driver side window rolling up properly, all the other ones roll up real slow. Is there somthing i can do myself?
Open the door panel, and lube the mechanisms/look for binding....some have the sideview mirror wires too close to the glass, etc.

Is it cold outside? That might have something to do with it.

Hmmm, I do not think that getting used to it is the answer. I think that troubleshooting it and getting to the bottom of it will solve your problem.
Try taking the panel off then rolling it up. If it rolls up fine, then it is something in the panel.
Still slow? Look at the tracks that the window rides in. Sometimes these are a little out of wack and make your windows a little cocked and prevent them from going up in the intended path of travel. Maneuver them accordingly.
Next, listen to the motor for any straining. You can solve this. ;)
You got it bro! I would start with the rear door if I were you.
P.S.-Some spray white lithium grease might be a good bet for you. You can get this at your local auto store. It is intended for hinges and the like. I think it might be good for your application because it stays and it stays clean. Other options for lube are roller ball and bearing grease and Mobil 1 synthetic grease.

Use Silicone spray on the window runs all the way down. The window regulator grease used from the factory is nothing more than Vasoline.

I have the same problem with all but the drivers window. I recently replaced my battery and for about a week all the windows went up faster, alot faster. Now it's back to normal. I'm going to take the panels off tomorrow. I'll post what I find.

I started with the rear and worked my way forward. I greased the windows center track and the side jams. All the windows work 100% better. They all go down and up at the same time. it took about 45 min for all windows.

I was having the same problem with the passenger window when i first got my X about 2 weeks ago. Took it back to the dealer a few days later, they ordered up a new motor and track, turns out the track was all rusted and the motor was on its way out.

If it makes you feel any better, here is the bad news. My '01 has had slow windows since I bought it in "03. Now the drivers window is sticking and making a grinding/crunching noise. I wonder if they will all do this as they get older.
