White05 09-09-2007, 09:01 AM There was some talk about these lights a while back, but they use cheap bulbs, like the ones that are normally for fog lights.

wyciwug 04-10-2008, 09:11 PM Just installed them today myself. Things went smooth, tested before putting them on. Took me a little bit over an hour removed bumper, grills, stock lights, rewiring and reinstalled.
Here are some pictures at night. Very pretty. Low beam was reaim so it won't bother incoming vehicles because I installed HID conversion kit for the low beams. Updated 06/02/09.
cbzdel 04-10-2008, 09:30 PM can you post a pic of the light pattern that they put out??
wyciwug 04-11-2008, 05:28 AM Yes I can. Plenty of light put out.
wyciwug 04-18-2008, 06:30 PM I took the pic then batteries ran out, only one for now. I installed HID conversion Kit for the lights yesterday. So here it is.
json3904 04-18-2008, 06:43 PM you see how wide the spectrum is?? that is what the other drivers will hate you for.. LOL
F150Boss86 04-18-2008, 10:19 PM yeaaa them bright haha, i like them. i get brights flashed at me all the time already. gotta love when the a**holes leave the brights on coming towards you so you just flip ur other 6 aux lights on!!
AXION 04-19-2008, 10:25 AM can you post a pic of the light pattern that they put out??
Chris, when yu put your LED's on your X where did you put them and what style?
Vorian 06-25-2008, 02:08 AM wyciwug,
I have the same projector housing as you. Do your low beams stay on when you use the highs?
Keyz18 06-25-2008, 07:53 AM I've been thinking of adding those to my X, but I've had a bad experience with after market "Halo" projector lights. I had the same conceptual lights for my Honda, and the bulbs were the same ones you'd find for your fog lights. Furthermore, just like wyciwug found out, there are no adjustment screws for re-aiming. I've also find that these after market lights don't leave a lot of room behind the housing in order for you to replace the bulbs...maybe wyciwug can let us know if there is. And finally, after 3 months of having the unit installed, I've notice that the plastic started to change color to a dark yellow due to the UV...I'm skeptical but really like how these lights look. Wyciwug, will you be willing to update us on the status on those lights in like 4 months?
Ehsan 06-25-2008, 08:37 AM he signed in last time 2 months ago, idk if he'll be back lol when ur gone for that long
Keyz18 06-25-2008, 09:05 AM lol, you maybe right...
Hmm...I swear I saw his picture on thenewx.org

My low won't stay on when I use the high.
Keyz18: Furthermore, just like wyciwug found out, there are no adjustment screws for re-aiming....
The lights have adjustment screws. I adjusted the beam so it won't shine onto the front car's rear view mirror and side view mirror. I never get flashed at. It's perfect. It's a head turner.
***For some reason, i didn't get a notice when there is a new message in this thread. This is just luck that I came back and i am not disappear.
bipolar xterra 07-26-2008, 10:58 PM I wanted to do something similer to that but I wanted to retro fit nice projectors from a acura TSX.
roastbeef 07-26-2008, 11:11 PM ebay lights suck ass. stay away. thats $300 you can spend on something worth anything. unless you do the hid conversion, they don't put out shit for light.
bipolar xterra 07-27-2008, 01:08 AM Yea but even then the HID conversion is not as good as a retro fit. I saw it donw on a 02 fronier and it looked really good.
json3904 07-27-2008, 01:58 AM retro fit would be the only true way to go....IMO
roastbeef 07-27-2008, 09:18 PM do anything but put these crappy ebay lights on. this is an honest opinion from someone who has them. i only still have them on because i have to take my bumper off to take them out, and im too lazy.

Well at least you can use the lights on your bumper (hellas?) as your driving lights
SHADOW 08-08-2008, 08:54 PM I got mine on ebay.A few problems but they work fine now. They came properly adjusted and I have never been flashed. They`re about the same brightness as stock, possibly a bit brighter.
