I've been struggling with this issue for a while. Periodically it won't start. I get lights, stereo, power windows operate etc. but now engine doesn't attempt to turn over. I replaced the battery about 4 months ago, and it still seems like it is working fine. Was on the way to getting it towed to dealership when tow truck guy thought it was kill switch. He jacked with the fob and it started. I can't fond documentation regarding disabling a stock kill switch feature anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the starter is going out. I hear that taking a hammer to it might help it work again (temporarily) but you really need to get it replaced

I would go with the starter to. If you take a hammer and tap on it a few times then take a screwdriver and place it on both terminals, and it starts or at least tries to turn over, then you know that the starter is bad.

Power + no clicky = starter relay or wiring, but considering the age it's probably the relay. (Btw, I'm talking about a relay that's on the starter itself.)
