: Help ID'ing Rim/Tire setup in this picture
Titans 06-30-2010, 05:03 PM Can anyone ID the tires/rims size/stats in this picture? And if there is a lift?

drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 05:05 PM Looks (Maybe) like 33 inch BFGs... Im not sure on the rims... hard to tell with all that sand on them
Definitely BFG AT ko's...can't see the size on the sidewall, but maybe 285/75/16's or 70/17's?
He also looks to have a lot less BS, which is why the skinny tires stick out that far, and why he had to trim so much.
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 05:19 PM doesnt look like a lift to me tj what do u see
ejwoods 06-30-2010, 05:22 PM It's all about perspective with these things.. hard to tell if he has lift on without seeing it next to a stock truck, for example, but I don't think he has any lift on it. I've seen those wheels around for sure.. if you search around a little bit I'm sure you could find em.
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 05:28 PM Kuma ran those rims I think
moparman83 06-30-2010, 05:35 PM they look like pro comps. 7089's or something like that. doesn't look lifted to me.

drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 05:38 PM I dont see those being the same as the link...

Drake 06-30-2010, 05:45 PM They are ProComp 7089's. The pictures used are just a general image of what the wheel looks like. You can change the bolt-pattern to an 8-lug and it will still come up with a 6-lug wheel as the image. I've seen that X somewhere on here but I can't for the life of me remember who's it is.

they're definitely pro comp xtreme alloys of some sort. the 7089 is my best guess, that 1089 looks identical to me, just chrome. either way, close enough for gubment work.
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 05:46 PM Seems like its the only rim I see on gen2s

Damb rite

sigh, yes. sadly those are about as good as it gets if you want to stay w/ 16 but want to get an 8" wide rim.
the mb motoring mb72 looks great if you want to "upgrade" to a 17" since they no longer make it in the right bolt pattern on a 16".
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 06:02 PM Wouldnt you think it would get better for the X not worse?
HEck you have Frontier/ X/ I think pathy with the same lugs

you'd think so. But as many X's as I see, nobody ever mods them at all. I guess soccer mom's just dont generate enough demand for aftermarket products.

Those do look great. What is the bolt pattern for a 2010 xterra?
Also, thanks to everyone for chiming in.

6x4.5
the wheels look alright(to each his own), i just dont care for the 4" backspacing
Titans 06-30-2010, 08:51 PM I see...well the look i'm going for is something similar to that pic without lifting if possible. I want a wider beefier stance with an aggressive looking tire. My xterra is black and I haven't decided if I want to go black on black or just do an alloy instead. Any suggestions?
Titans 06-30-2010, 08:52 PM crud, I just realized I posted this in the wrong section :dork:

personally, I'd go black o black. but it's your ride, build it how you like. the wider stance does LOOK cool, but as tj mentioned, you'll likely have tire rub issues changing your wheel backspacing by an inch and a half.
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 08:58 PM AC/DC said it best
Snow Chaser 06-30-2010, 10:23 PM Back in black?
drbandkgb 06-30-2010, 10:29 PM Damn right
