Hello All,

New member, and hopefully a new Xterra owner if I can convince my wife to take advantage of the $2250 cash back incentive.

I have loved Xterra's forever, but since moving to Denver we are hiking every weekend, exploring the Rockies and I would like to expand that to overnight camping, some off-roading etc.

I am in the market for a 2010 Off Road, in night armor with a 6-speed manual. I had driven one in 2005 when they finally put the VQ in and I loved it, it just wasn't meant to be at that time.

Any ideas if Nissan might extend the incentives for the Xterra, or is it once this is done, nothing for awhile? Trying to build my case for the wife ;)

Nice to meet you all.

Welcome from Breckenridge!! I can say you will LOVE taking advantage of all the new places you will be able to go in Colorado in that thing! Never again will you hate driving in the crazy snow storms, either... I look forward to them! =D Plus, I make gas money driving my friends around in those storms who would otherwise be stuck! Hahahaha!

Hey all, thanks for the welcoming.

So, lostcanuck was right, no need to build a case for the wife... we brought home our new 2010 Night Armor Off Road 6-Speed just now! Wow this thing is an absolute beast. Took advantage of the Nissan incentives and they made us a deal on our outgoing Jeep Patriot.

First off, the power is smooth and potent, and the Bilstein's ride alot smoother than I thought.

The stereo is great for stock, very happy with everything so far.

Pics will come in the morning, have to make a little more space in the garage hahah. Going on a hike tomorrow, no off roading yet, but will soon, I know this beast can take it.

Welcome man.. what time is it in CO? 12? You brought it home just now? ;)

Excited for pics.. and yes, the truck can definitely take the heat. Being an OR, that truck is miles ahead of you in driving ability (right now). Enjoy it!

Haha! Very excited for you!!! Enjoy her!!! Next time you're up in the high country you'll realize just how many XTerras there are on the roads... it's pretty insane. Guess that's just how many smart folk live here! :mocking:

Just checked the Nissan site, and in addition to the $2250 cash back, for the next 5 days they are also offering $500 holiday cash bonus on Xterra's! Good time to buy if your in the market.

I have mine on order and it's scheduled to arrive the week of July 23rd ... I hope that qualifies me for the $500 cash???

Welcome.... :wink-big:
Happy to see some new wheelers in CO. Youre going to love your new ride. Bring it out for an adventure! Were trying to put together a trail ride / camping trip next weekend on Taylor Pass. We intend on establishing camp on the 7th or 8th, and take over the valley for the next 4 or 5 days. So far, we have a few guys from Roninwheelers.com interested.. Taylor Pass goes from Taylor Park to Aspen. To get there, you go over Cottonwood Pass from Buena Vista to Taylor Park, go right, and about 17-18 miles up on the left, BIG.. BIG open space on left (parallel to taylor road - fine.. i probably didn't spell parallel right) we could park many RV's (don't know exactly, but lots) There are a few other passes in the area, Pearl, Italian, and if you want to go south 20 or 30 miles, there is Hancock Pass, Tincup Pass, Baldwin lakes trails, and much more. Please let us know if anyone is interested...email me:
