My wife & I rarely go out to eat, basically because she loves to cook and she's good at it. There was this new restaurant in town, and we were on our way to the supermarket to restock my fridge (see my "respect" post) so we decided to give it a shot.
Now, we are not rich by any stretch of the imagination, but were not poor either. So when it comes to ordering food, we dont look at the prices. We never have. Screw it, you cant take it with you. So we had 2 appetzers, 2 entrees, 1 beer each.
The check totals out to $70.00. I just started laughing. 70 dollars for what probably cost them 8 bucks to make.
I'm glad I am married and dont have to go out on dates anymore. I'd constantly be broke.
