Greetings everyone,
I just bought my first Xterra last week. It's a 2001 model, but it's got low miles and I got it for a great price. It needs a little bit of minor work, and I plan on doing most of it myself. I hope to learn from all of you on everything Xterra!

Dude I'm from Andover/Byram area...but I travel rt 80 to Pine Brook (exit 47) every day. I don't drive the X around that much (it's a trail rig) but I am sure I will see you on the roads... Lemme know if you need any help with anything...I have tools and cold beer...always...!

Maybe we can get together and you can help me find a solution to the only problems with my Xterra--air conditioner is not working, and the check engine light is on (and I need to get it inspected soon).

I took the Xterra to the inspection station a few days ago; it failed. I need to get the check engine light to go out, and there's something with the rear license plate light that also failed. At least I can't get ticketed for no inspection sticker for at least 45 days.
On a side note, I just absolutely love driving this! I can't wait for wintertime!
