Alright guys, I know you like DIY write ups and cool gadgets and crap like that that no1 else understands why u like it, so here is my lil DIY cheap project that takes about an hour or so, and about $40 in parts (if you already have lights). I have dark tinted windows and can't see when I backup at night, so I wanted more lights without all the wires and switches. I'm not sure if someone has done this on CX or not but here you go.
First I got one of these off amazon.com for about $30. Its a wireless remote/relay receiver that runs off 12 volts, this one was a 4 channel in case I added anymore lights, coulda got by with a 2 channel just fine tho. Its a logisys brand

The wireless box was only rated for like 6-8 amps, which woulda fried when I cut the front Spot lights on because they are 130 watt pro comps, which comes out to be right around 10 amps. So I hooked up some 30 watt relays inline and used them as the switch. Depending on where u go the relays are like 3-4 dollars a piece. U'll need one for ever hookup.

Next I the whole idea of this was to cut down clutter of wires and switches and such, I only wanted one power wire running out of the x, so I had to hide the remote relay and water proof it at the same time, so while not as low profile as I wanted I got a 4" plastic conduit box from lowes for like 5 bucks.

There's no good way to take a picture, but pretty much u make the whole set up run off one power wire, and hook the relays up like switches to the wireless control. For those of u who know how to, here's a schamatic diagram.

I think that picture might show up upside down (I'm on my Moto Droid, and its to much trouble to flip it, I'll fix it on my home computer) but that's pretty much all there is to it. The only thing I wish I did different is I thought I would need more than 2 channels so I got the 4 channel relay control, I would buyh the cheaper 2 channel that comes with 2 remotes that are like key fobs. But I hope u guys find this helpfull.

Also notice how on the schematic (mispelled it the 1st time) all the relays and the wireless controller are hooked up to the same power wire, this doesn't mean all the lights will come on at the same time, when you send power to the system you still have to flip the relays to the on position. I have the hole system set up that I just took off my truck to rewire and hook up a 2 channel controller, if anyone wants my old 4 channel I'll sell it for like 25 bucks shipped. Just give me a shout
