Hey All,
Does anyone have any photos of their X all packed up for a camping weekend. I tend to run out of room fast for some reason. I've been trying to use totes more just cause its easier to pack. I'm thinking about getting some type of safari basket to haul some gear. Still not sure what one to by. I use a rack in my hitch for the cooler. Ya can't forget the beer. LoL. But inside my X is where I need more space. Or less gear I guess.

I like to be organized and have what I need for camping. I guess I should go through what I have an start to make a list.

I would love to store most of my gear for the summer time but. To unload it if I needed the space would suck.

Just looking for some ideas.

My advice for running out of room is to just pack less. One of my favorite ways to go camping is to get in a canoe and head down the river until it gets dark, once it's dark. Pull off and set up camp. That way you just carry the essentials, sleeping bag, beer, food.

When I go camping, when I'm packing stuff, I try to leave stuff behind that I just won't use. Lay out all the gear you take camping, if you didn't use it the last few times you went camping, quit taking it.

Yeah thats just it. When we do go we usually go from Thursday to Monday and most of the stuff is needed. I think I can get rid of at least one tote if I buy just a little bit bigger one. We take pots and pans and all that stuff and then my other tote with some food. Cereal, buns for burgers and dogs and spices, foil and all that crap. I think I can combine those totes to make it easier.

I'm thinking the roof rack for the portable chairs, my tent and stuff along those lines. Stuff I won't mind getting wet in my travel to and from the site. If it does rain of course.

I'm just getting anxious for this years season to kick off. I won't be going as much as I'd like cause of people getting married and friends having other plans.
