I have a 04 Xterra that has manual locks and windows. I've been doing some research on the net to try and find out what I would all need to convert those to power. I see quite a few different universal kits and I didnt know if those would work very good and if they are really hard to install. If anybody has any experience with this or if you know something about it, any suggestions/comments would be appreciated!

Yes it is the XE. There are a couple of universal kits that I guess I could try but I'm kinda scared.

werd, never seen a manual wicdow/lock X
mine's an XE also, but im powered, i dont really hear of any peeps doing this conversion to any car/truck, and im on ALOT of different auto forums, its probably not a good sign.
if I were gonna do it, i would go to a junk yard and pull all the shit off of an xterra with power stuff, everything should fit just fine, plus you get to see it all together before you take it off, unfortunately it wouldnt come with instructions, but perhaps a service manual could supply the required info

I agree with RicerX. I would go the stock route. With this, you can even get the correct panels that go on the doors.
Like CJ said, there are probably plugs in there already that might have terminators.
