Hi, I just bought a 2003 yellow xterra xe with 110,000 miles 2 weeks ago. It has a sport package, towing package, cabin air filter, hi powered alternator. I have already changed to synthetic oil, I have changed the spark plugs with ngk's, I have changed the spark plug wires with ngk, I changed the cap and rotor with bosch, I have changed the fuel filter and air filter. I bought some hid 3000k (yellow) for my fog lights. I plan on doing a 2 in body lift, powdercoating my rims matte black, some 31 bfg at and other miscellaneous things that look fun to do.

Welcome to the world of X.

That will be a great color scheme. Had a guy here in AZ that had a yellow X with black rims and yellow calipers, really sharp looking X.

You can get good results with just sand paper and a rattle can on the wheels, unless you got the coin to powdercoat.

with a 2" body lift, you can fit 32" BFG A/T's no problem and believe you will wish you had if you get 31's. You can even fit 33's with a little trimming of plastic upfront.

Do you know if the timing belt has been changed or not? If it hasn't - do it. If you don't know - do it to be safe. A shop will charge anywhere from 700-900, the dealership will be north of 1000. The actual parts will cost you around 200-250 and can be done in 4-6 hours.

Thanks guys! And the timing belt and the water pump has been both replaced at 40,000 miles due to the water pump leaking on the timing belt it was covered under warranty. So im good until about 140,000 miles. And yes I love the color and also I am able to get the powdercoating done at about 50% off so about $35 a tire due to a barter system I am in. So i figure I might as well do it. I do have to look into the yellow brake calipers that would be awesome.

Welcome! Use Krylon Fusion for the plastics. That's what the majority of us use... :)
