Name is Scott. I'm 31, and from the Brandon area of Florida, just outside of Tampa. I got my Xterra just under a year ago from my mother-in-law. She moved and didn't need a vehicle, so I worked out a deal to get it from her. It's a bone stock 2002 XE auto, 2wd. I've got some ideas for it, but also have some issues I need to work on fixing on it first. Eventually I'd like to get a set of 20" Titan wheels for it with a bit more aggressive rubber, and get a vinyl wrap around the back quarter, advertising my business. I run an automotive parts and supplies business, doing drop shipping of anything and everything automotive related. I'm also working on getting some new equipment set up to start making custom parts, including bent tube work (designed in BendTech Pro). I'm toying with the idea now of doing custom front and rear bumpers out of plate steel and bent tube, along with some custom steps/sliders, etc. I just found this site today, and took the opportunity to ask a few questions about a problem I'm experiencing with my steering components, to verify what I had already been thinking. It's always nice to have others input, opinions, and experience to help solve issues. Site looks great so far, and I'm hoping to be a valuable member to the community, putting in as much, or more, than I get out of it. Looking forward to meeting some of the local members in my area as well.

Thanks for the welcome. Kinda put the cart before the horse with posting about my suspension problem, but wanted to see if I was on the right track with my thoughts, and see if anyone else had those issues. Nice to be on a site that is strictly for the X, and has a ton of knowledgeable and friendly members. I look forward to being a member.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Nice to see some other FL people on here. I actually checked out the FL area earlier today and managed to make a post over there. I wish I could make the BBQ but I'm already locked into some previously scheduled plans. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next one though.

Sounds good! We are trying to have a get together at least once a month. I think the next one will be at the beach. Keep an eye on the FL forum for updates.
