Anyway, it was the Rod Bearings. The engine is in perfect shape, couldnt be better. But, someone who owned this before me must have drove it without oil in it, and the bearings didnt get enough lubrication and totally ruined them. Check out these pics!

I'll admit to killing a 1983 Caprice Classic that way. It was leaking oil before I could notice and it stalled and died right in the toll booth on way out of Staten Island. Lots of unf with that :D

If it is the plug type (no hole where it slides into the hitch) then just stuff it in there. If it does have a hole where is slides into the hitch then you just slide it in, line up the hole in the hitch cover with the hole in the hitch itself and use the hitch pin to hold it in place.

Yeah just put it in the hitch and line up the holes and put the pin through. Then plug it in and you should be good to go!

For the moment, I just want to deal with condition issues (paint, rust), but what I'm thinking about all the time is painting the plastics and what graphics I'll put on the windows...so much to display and so little room lol

I'm helping move a co-worker this Saturday. I'm hoping it won't take too long, I want to take off my step rails and paint them. They're looking like sh*t (stained, waterspots?). I also want to remove the roof rack and basket to address the paint on the roof. It's in great shape, but there's no clear coat or wax whatsoever.

Blacking out the wheels is another option I'm toying with. And possibly painting the roof rack lol
