Who was your original trail leader, and what happened? --- Was it perhaps Brent?

Ya it was Brent.

At Lake Cristy we all stayed to the side as we went around the lake but Brent went in a little further from the side. He went in slow to see how it was and when he tried to back out he just slipped further in. I drove back over to the other side and pulled him out.
He ended up taking the ECU for a swim and had to get towed out. He went home that night and got another ECU and was fixed for Sat.

Pepper and I found another way out besides the Blue route in and the Blacks out. Took me a couple attempts to get up the hill but we got out. We getting ready to pull him out with tow ropes and then another group came by with 150' winch so they pulled him out and Pepper and I went back to the entrance to meet up with our NeXterra group.

Can't wait to go wheeling again

I recognized the spot as Lake Christy, that's why I figured it was Brent leading you -- I had heard he swamped his ECU.

I'm guess you then when up that steep rise and made a left onto the green trail that loops around through the South property?

The funny thing is... that's the lowest level I've ever seen lake christy.. OOPS Brent!

the black X, whats with the brown/tan hood?

That's Dan's truck. He wanted to paint the hood with a flat-black section to reduce the glare of his roof-mounted lights. I believe he decided that if he was painting anyway, he wanted the hood to be Khaki (it's an Xterra color, btw) with the black center section.

Funny, cause he has since removed the overhead lights. :) LOL

im liking the black tan thing tho

nice pictures, that looks like fun. when is this event held, and where.
