I have an 02 Xterra with stock suspension and was wondering what would be a good alternative to the stock suspension. Looking for something with a little more performance than stock. Any recommendations? Is the nismo kit worth it? I am not looking for a lift, just something for everyday, but a little more stiff.

you want a differant suspension, but not a lift??? So what suspension components are you looking to replace... Just shocks???????

I don't know that i have much of a recomendation, just wanted to clarify what your looking to replace....

Hopefully somebody running the Nismo shocks can help out more...

yeah, im sorry, I am just looking to replace shocks/struts because they are getting pretty worn out now

Well...

Rancho's are popular... And they will give you a stiffer ride than stock..

The Bilstein shocks are very good though too....

Although i'm talking from a off roading perspective.. So lets hold off and hopefully some others will respond with what they run

I have an 02 X, 4x4 no lift, and replaced stock shocks with some KYB gas Shocks- Had them for a over two years and really happy with them. Obviously stiffer then stock, but no body roll and handles well on and off road.
