I have been building my Xterra up ever since 2001. In 2008 I purchased a 2007 Dodge Charger and the Xterra was no longer my daily driver. During 2008-09 it sat in the driveway not getting much attention. Lately, I've decided to give it the attention that it deserves. Here is a list of what I've done over the past 3 months.

Replaced front swaybar linkage (needed to do this to pass inspection)
Replaced bushings in idler arm with HD bushings from Bandit4x4
Removed sliders, sanded them down and painted them with POR-15 (will be top coating them with Herculiner)
Painted the frame rails with POR-15
Painted back axle with POR-15, then top coated with spray on bedliner
Sanded down the ARB, painted it with POR-15, then top coated it with Herculiner
Installed aftermarket fog lights
Installed new exhaust tip, since the old tip was rusted out
Seafoamed
Finally did the "Fresh air mod"
Painted plastic trim and side molding black
Painted back bumper black
Painted the OEM alloys black
Painted front faded grill black
Tinted the windows
Herculined the rocker panels and 6-7 inches up the side of the truck

Still need to:
Replace rusted out rocker panel on Passenger side
Replace distributor

Probably once I get the distributor replaced and the passenger rocker panel fixed. Then I can install the sliders again and head off pavement. :)

The drivers side just had some surface rust. So, I sanded the rocker down and painted it with POR-15, then herc. On the passenger side, a different story, the rocker was too weak and I was able to push through, so I just removed the whole rocker.
