After 5 Years and 75,xxx miles, the bumpers luck.....well ewww yuck

Basically what I did here is removed all the parts and painted them duh....anyone can do it
Before you do anything take the time to PREP if not, you will have overspray (which can be quicly removed with a paint thinner but be careful on ur paint) Preping will also make the over all job look more professional.

1. Wash with soap
2. Dry
3. Lightly Sand (I used 1000 grit)
4. Primer 2 Coats (I used black to give it a deeper feel)
5. Paint 2 Coast (Very Slowly, LIGHT COATS- I have the runs...well in a few spots)
6. Clear Coat 2 or 3 Depending on you- I used 3 coats on the wheels and 2 coats on the plastic- DO THIS OUT THE SUN or else the clear will flake as soon as it hits the surface and you will have to come back and sand all that down
(After It Dries)
7. Wet Sand (havent dont this yet! Paints not fully cured yet- I would wait at at least 48 Hours)
8. Lightly use a rubbing compound go light or u could rub all the way through your paint (this isnt a factory paint job so the adhesion is not as good as somone with a HVLP gun)
9. Wax wit any good old wax
10. Enjoy or realize you suck and start over (hopefully the 1st :wink-big:)
