I won't lie that I literally jumped out my seat when I saw this. He carries a blacked out version too. Pisses me off that I have a 2003 Xterra... :usuck:

For those that can use them, enjoy.

Hmmm, I wonder if these things can be outfitted with HID's. If they can.... it looks like yet another mod to add to my long list of things to do.

I could be wrong but I believe that they are just a normal light Not HID lights like you see on acuras and infinitys and such. It is just a nice housing... but if you buy a HID kit and put them on there then they would be just like the top of the line automakers headlights....

Sombody correct me if im wrong....

I asked a reliable source (the guy that I bought my HID's from) and he said that my HID's should fit nicely in that housing. If i didnt just buy a supercharger then i would be all over this deal.

the hid kit will fit, because it is just HID bulbs that fit in the stock socket. The hids are fed with external ballasts, so the bulbs are exactly like stock. Since this housing fits stock bulbs, the HID's in your's and my trucks would plug right in to this. I been looking at these for weeks.

Ok I stand corrected. I would think since the Ebay page says that this kit is plug and play, that everything is going to work. I was about to get those black lights, but I emailed the seller to ask if the do in fact use the 9007 bulbs that come in our X. Reply:

Dear customer,
The headlights with come with H1 or H3 light bulbs, it will not be compatible with your 9007 HID bulbs.
Thank you
K2motor

Sorry Guys. I think that this is a total load of crap.

Hey all,

I'm new to these forums. I got those projectors last year for my '06 OR. It took my brother (auto mechanic) 4 hours to put them in. They are a real PITA. I bought an HID kit that fit those projectors and they are super bright :) My only issue is with the halos. They didn't work on one of my units and they were such a pain to put in that we didn't bother removing them just to get a replacement. Also, the high-beams SUCK. It would be nice if I could get the fog lights to stay on when the highs are on to supplement them. Anyone know how to wire the stock fog lights to the park lights for that purpose?

i would just run a new circuit to them, with a relay whose signal wire is tapped into the parking light wire
