Srsly, if it doenst rain around dinner time and after you get off work Sean=--I may be taking off my tire and looking hard at that shock etc. Could use someone there who isnt screaming Mother F'er at the X to see what really might be going on :)

Your just going to have to live with the squeak.. lol I doubt you'll find it.. Let things settle and maybe it will go away..

or your front shock will just fall off. ha ha ha. good way to try and find the noise is spray with some WD or silicone spray and see if the noise goes away.

Im not worried about my shock falling off :D nor am I going to let things "settle" :D as I can tell you from many years of experience (yes I was that irresponsible kid that ignored stuff like this) that ignoring a problem makes it worse. Sure I can just turn up my stereo, but if it's something bad--it will only get worse. If it's something simple (ie I need to replace a mis-seated shock bushing that formed in a weird way) then I'm good to go and X is all better.

Either way, my X shouldn't sound like a rusty baby buggy when I drive at normal speeds, that much I am sure of :)

If you are around Monday, give me a hollar. I'd love to have your help, but if not, I'll try to muddle through and maybe wear my reading glasses and see what Haynes manual says. Either way I have to do it squeak is driiving me nuts and totally ruins my "cool Kharma" when driving (you all know what I mean) :D I'll do tomorrow as it was way too humid for this fat boy to work on it today. I went through two shirts painting my steel rim for the new spare as it was!

...or maybe take it to Firestone where I have a good relationship now with the techs and see why it squeaks after their last alignment kinda thing--I got the lifetime one so it should be cool.

I have to order the camber bolts so may wait until I get those first and do them and TRA's together myself then hobble there to Firestone for alignment and to look at ole uncle squeaky.

Loads of ideas we'll see what pans out :D

i understand the noise issue. I was rubbing my front bumper every time i drove in my driveway so that's why i cut the plastic. now no noise. if your willing to wait till June you can come down here and get an early start. We'll start taking parts off starting with the shock then the sway bar and see where the noise is coming from. We will eventually find it. So why are you getting new cam bolts? New UCA's on order??? Or because they couldn't get the alignment "perfect" enough for ya? We can take care of that too but you will definitely have to get an alignment right after that Mod.

Thanks Mike :) I guess my fear is it's a ball joint going bad. My hope is that if its a ball joint the issue could be resolved as easily as just needing to grease it. I just don't know.

Sadly not only do I have my own experience of ignoring problems with cars, I also have a terrible history of getting F'd over by mechanics and shops over the years too. I don't want to bring it in and then be told it needs $800 worth of work when all it needs is grease on a bearing kinda thing.

I'll still see if I can find anything tomorrow too. Thanks man!
